Everybody had a great time at Solihull Summer Fest – despite the weather!
Solihull Summer Fest put on a mammoth show in late July with The Open Air Cinema, Ibiza Rooms, and two days of musical magic at Tudor Grange Park.
With over 7000 people in attendance, acts over the weekend included Kenny Thomas, Blue, Artful Dodger, Pixie Lott, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Lisa Stansfield. Sunday was 80’s day with a DJ set by Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, followed by Johnny Hates Jazz, Aswad, Boney M and the Human League.

A year with many challenges to navigate, and despite one of the wettest July’s on record, I’m proud to say the audience arrived and fully embraced the elements!
“Summer Fest has been my life for nearly a decade now: a rollercoaster of challenges! But to see thousands of people dancing, singing and enjoying themselves in the sunshine and rain makes it all so worthwhile.
“To see the community coming together for a celebration of music and happiness means the world. It was great to see hotels, bars and venues also benefiting from the additional footfall which is so paramount for Solihull’s tourism trade.
“Finally, I want to thank our team. The event simply couldn’t happen without their support, commitment and dedication.
