Over 30 exhibitors and partners will be in attendance giving visitors the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
Restaurant Launch Party
Esabella’s restaurant and bar on Warwick Road in Solihull celebrated its new ownership with a re-launch party, and has rung the changes with a stylish new interior, a modern European menu full of classic favourites, and a new breakfast brunch offer.
Spicing it up
The Halal Food Festival is coming to the NEC on 27-28 May, bringing a fun-filled taste experience to Birmingham.
The event is the brainchild of a team of young British Muslims with a vision to create an event that celebrates their culture, whilst also producing an opportunity for entrepreneurs within the Halal/Muslim industry to meet their target market and for other cultures to come along and get involved.
The festival has previously been held in Leicester and Manchester and has an expected turnout of 35,000 for the Birmingham event.
Bilal Khan, CEO of The Halal Family Group says: “We
are really excited to be bringing this event to the West Midlands to showcase Halal cuisines from across the globe, including Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Turkey. Expect street food vendors, special guest chefs, influencers, your favourite Halal brands, live cooking demonstrations and entertainment for all ages.”
Cider festival launched
An all-day line-up of live musicians will take centre stage in Napton-on-the-Hill, performing their own music for the Napton Cidery’s Hillside Jamm event on 29 July.
As well as the Cidery’s range of ciders, the event will feature stalls selling a variety of festival goods and mementoes plus the chance to buy from some of the best food and drink producers in the area, including Purity in Alcester, Windmill Hill Brewers in Leamington, Tacos El Pap in Southam, and Red Bangers and Water Buffalo Ice cream (the latter made from locally-reared water buffalo) both from Napton. It will also be an opportunity to sample the Cidery’s new limited-edition 2022 Vintage Perry Cider.
The festival runs between 11 am and 11 pm but camping
is also available overnight on Friday and Saturday for £20 per pitch. Early-bird admission tickets at £32 for adults and £16 for 15-17-year-olds are available for a limited time. Under 15s go free.
